Public Art Car Exhibit (“PACE”) is a public art installation consisting of painted vehicles by local artists. The exhibit debuted during the Daytona Beach Arts Fest, April 9 & 10. The public is invited to visit the exhibit locations and participate in community give back events and sweepstakes.

How it all started...In an effort to offer community members and visitors an art experience, Imagine Daytona and the Riverfront Arts District had the idea of offering a mobile art exhibit.  We asked, “what is synonymous with the Daytona Beach area that will have an impact on art lovers?”  The answer is easy… “race cars, Jeeps, motorcycles, and more”. The theme would be ocean and beach driving.

The natural next step was to approach one of the area’s largest events – JEEP BEACH.  There was not much convincing when chatting with Charlene and Curt Greer of Jeep Beach.  Their philanthropic nature matched with one of the most successful and giving events in our area is perfect. They saw the vision.

It was as if Jeep Beach snapped its fingers and a Jeep appeared! The Jeep arrived, was set into position, and was ready for the artist, Angel Lowden, to bring it to life.
